	The wastewater of the two big cities, Conception and Asuncion, and the effluent of many slaughterhouses in this area flow untreated into the Rio Paraguay.
	The law of the Tierseuchen has changed few time ago so trucks have to be cleaned after every animal transport. The increased problem of wastewater treatment was delegated to the local government and the cooperative. The cooperative Fernheim gave Janisch und Schulz the order of a feasibility study to work out the possibilities for the most effective wastewater treatment.
